I created this post in 2019 and never got around to posting it. Earlier this it’s sad to say that Bandit(on the right) passed away. I’m going to miss that little rascal.

2019 Pet Sitting

If you know me, you know, I love to win, I’ll take that dare and I never want to be like everybody else. 

So last year a buddy of mine challenged me to do a personal project that would last more than a day(I like to get things finished and move on to the next thing).  To say I was not thrilled about this challenge was an understatement. 

I took it in stride and began to love it and look forward to the trips I made that put Reunion Tower, a Dallas icon, in my path. I didn’t go out of my way but when I did travel this way i would open my sunroof, slow down and shoot Reunion Tower rain or shine. Anytime I drove by, somtimes it was 3 times a month and others 3 times in one day. 

A friend informed me that it was against the law to hold your smart phone and drive. Damn Her. I’m not a rule follower in general, it was the $300. ticket I could get if I continued with this project. There are days when I think about doing it anyway. I miss it. 

I shot over 1600 images in the short time I worked on this project. Here is a snippet of my work. I used the app 1second everyday. Cool stuff.

Look at this great write up we received from our Pop-Up event last week. We had so much fun with the doggie dogs and the people too. I guess we really should have called it our Pup-Up event. LOL We are planning another event this Fall. No date as of this post but I’ll be happy to put you on the list and let you know when we set a date.

Pepper

Look at this cutie pie, Pepper. We go for a walk midday 4 times a week. She has such a lovely personality.

I’m excited to tell you that as in the past couple of months, I started walking dogs! So much fun. Pet sitting is fun too, though getting to see your babies daily for months on end is like being an aunt watching your nephews grow and change. I feel like I get to be apart of their lives and influences.
